Our economy was actully doing fine untill 2006.It had over come 9/11,an inherited recession from clinton,and several major natural disaters.Then we got pelosi and reid,the spending went out the roof. Sure GW made some mistakes but he tried to keep his beliefs in mind.
I hear you say capitalism doesnt work, show me one gov. that was successful that was socialist or noncapitalist, there were none and will never be.That is 1000 year history and alone comes obama,pelosi,and reid and they will make it work ???????? I am also tired of the notion that bush only cared about the rich. Let me ask you a question how many poor people hire anyone to work? ?? Or how many poor people have you worked for??None, so giving them a tax break only allows them to hire moreor expand there buieness.How can you not see that? I actually remember getting some semblance of an education. "you've" and "you have," and "it's" and "it is" are exactly the same thing. They're called CONTRACTIONS. If you're a senior in high school and don't know what a basic contraction is, then you've proven my point. Look it up (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contraction_(grammar)), or ask your English teacher if you don't believe me. "... that show interviews with young people..." Are you serious? Say that out loud and tell me that doesn't sound stupid. That is grammatically incorrect. As is putting the "...man-on-the-street...: in quotes. I wasn't quoting anything. And I used quiz show because I was referring to the actually shows dedicated to doing just what I said. I will concede that the addition of the commas after "people" and "years" is appropriate, in all fairness. However, the one after "quiz shows," is unnecessary although not incorrect either way.

I've (there's those contractions again [:@]) come to the conclusion that you're an uneducated, stubborn fool at best, and not worthy of my time and energy. You're also very young, and haven't really seen the world outside the comfort of your parent's home and the idealistic, liberal echo chamber that is the modern public school system. Hopefully wisdom will com for you with age. As for being an "... arrogant, pompous jackass...," it's only toward people like you. I have very little patience for left-wing, kool-aid chugging, intellectually dishonest teenagers that will deny that water is wet after being thrown in a lake. Hopefully, as you grow older and mature a bit, you'll open your mind to the truth and embrace real liberty. Marxism/Socialism/Communism is a disease that causes terrible damage to any society it infects. It creates the illusion of liberty and financial security while it silently enslaves the poor and the working classes, destroys the middle class, and secures the power and privilege of the select few that occupy the ruling class. If that's the kind of America you want, then you are a Marxist; a sniveling coward, so scared of life's risks that you are willing to give up your liberty to big government on the hope that they'll take care of you. I truly wish you the best on your future, as you're not too old to change.
