Default Inexpensive coyote rifle

Does any one have info on a brand of an inexpensive coyote rifle? Also what do you think about a Savage 93R17 or a Savage Stevens model 200 .223? Looking for something that will reach out there quite a was 200 yards +

Take a look at a Savage 11 .223........the Stevens is built off the Savage 110 action, and should give you good accuracy easily to 200 yards, but it does not have the accu trigger so you may need to get a trigger job done.

You may want to take a look at the NEF and Rossi single shots. I bought a NEF .223 and really like it. Here is the rifle and a target I shot. The group is a 5 shot group with 55gr Remington PSPs. The first shot was in the orange. The shot low and to the left was my fault, not the rifle. I don't think it's too bad considering I paid less than $200 for the rifle and the only thing I was using for a rest is my jacket thrown over the side of my truck.

I use a Husqvarna 6.5X55 M96. Yes it is a military design, but it is a Commercial rifle NOT a military rebuild like many people will tell you. The rifles are inexpensive and shells are cheap and readily available. They are extremely accurate, 1/2" groups at 100 yards are normal and are excellent long range rifles and I'll put one up against any new commercial rifle, regardless of manufacture. I own Savage, Remington, Ruger and Browning rifles also. BUT the Husky out does them all for accuracy.

Think I'd go for a Savage 110 perhaps the package version. They're known for good to excellent accuracy and reasonably priced. The scope on these is nothing special but the .223 has very little recoil so it should hold up.

get a ruger M77 22-250 or a tikka t3 22-250 shoot a 55gr SBHP and that is a coyote and a half rifle, i have really killed so many with my ruger M77 that it would take a long time to count them. but we have a lot of em in Texas. The reason i brought up the tikka is i just bought a 25-06 and it is scary accurate out of the box and has an awesome trigger.
