core-lokt OR interbond for 30-06

RE: core-lokt OR interbond for 30-06
SavageHunter44; I shoot a Savage mod. 116, 7mm. mag. and I can't get very good groups with cor-locs, every rifle is different. Mine likes Winchester ballistic silver tips, 150 gr. or the new Win. XP3's 160 gr. and yes the 7 mag is a flat shooter, I picked up a Savage in .270 for X-Mas haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, looking for a scope and waiting for my replacement trigger I ordered, ( non-accura trigger). I wish mine grouped better with the cor-locs, (cheaper) maybe my .270 will.

Have you tried shooting 165 grain bullets? Both of my .30-06's (Rem 700 and Ruger 77)like 165 gr factory rounds in both the Core-Lokt and Winchester Super X rounds.
They tend to shoot165'sbetter than their 150 grain counterparts.
I really like the Interbonds, but unless you're hunting for an animal that would need a bonded bullet (like Elk, Brown Bear), the Core Lokt's are hard to beat for value. TheInterbonds and Nosler Accubonds can get a little pricey.
