thank you Wingbone I handled a ruger 1v in 25-06 i loved how it felt in hand,I just want the stainless version.
We have Ruger #1's in 25/06, .300 WM, and .375 H&H mag. They are all accurate. The 25/06, and the .375 are both stainless. THe 25/06 will put the shots on top of one another at 100 yards.

thank you Jeff that sounds awesome,did you have to tweak it or anything,or did it do that straight out of the box? Also to you reload

3000fps, I do not reload (probably should but it's not currently feasible). Anyway, my 1 seems to like 130 Barnes TSX loaded by Federal. I've also used some from Stars and Stripes. They both shot VERY well.

We reload some but it will shoot the same with good factory loads. We didn't have to do anything with any of the rifles. The .25/06 is really nice to shoot though the .300 and the .375 both have pretty good recoil.
