I prefer a Purdey. But since I can't afford one, I settle for a Winchester Model 21, a Parker, or an L.C. Smith.

Also look at AYA's, and now, CZ's.....

There are a lot of nice S/S out there to choose from. If you want to save some cash look into Stoger Co. or if you don't mind spending some dough then L.C. Smith's can be found, as well as Parker Brothers or even Purdy (but as mentioned these will run you some serious money). You can also look into Bernadelli, they make a fine, fine s/s but again look to spend some cash on them.

When I'm not using my trusty Browning BT-80 20ga for upland birds you find an old Stoger Zephyr Woodlander .410S/Sor my Bernadelli Roma 20ga S/S in my hands. Hunting with a side by side has a beauty all in it's own to it.

I have a few Savage Fox model Bs that are pretty sweet old side-by-sides. I just bought a Ruger Red Label a month or so ago (20 gauge) with the English stock, and its a sweet lil gun.
