Default Weatherby Vanguard?

I recently purchased a Weath. Van. in 25-.06, put on a Nikon Pro w/BDC. Does anyone know if this is a good set up. The shop guy said I would be pleased but I sometimes feel they just tell you what you want to hear! Any response would be appreciated, thanks.
