Hi Guys,
I've got a Winchester M70 pre-64 featherweight model rifle in need of a new stock. It's in 30-06 caliber so I need a long action version, etc ... Synthetic stock is my first choice if possible, but I'd settle for another wood stock in the same style if need be. Any suggestions on where to get one?
thank you!

Check gun shows in your area. Also ask at local gun shops who in the area does gunsmithing/stockwork. Several of the gun periodicals list "Stocks for sale" columns, such as Gun Digest. Check on GunBroker.... Lots of places to look once you get a few ideas... Should not be that hard to find one, but price may be a different story, particularly if you want an original wood stock. I would think a synthetic should be fairly easy to come up with...check places like Ram Line, McMillan, etc...
