The ca;iber is fine but a heavy barrell gun sucks. I had a heavy barrell .243 for about 6 years, I always cussed at it, I finaly sold it a couple of days ago. they are just to damn heavy, no need for that much weight for hunting.

father in law has a model 12 in 22-250. I have a 110 in .308. Both shoot well. Should be very accurate.

I have a friend that owns one. He likes it, and it is accurate. He generally uses it for long range hunting and target shooting.

Great for hunting. I have it in 300 WSM. I don't mind packing that weight with my TIS sling because I know when I get to my shooting spot, I can hit what I'm aiming at. That is what the weight is for.
