Nikon 6X24 Variable w/SF & FCH
I posted this in the Optics forum, but thought I'd give it a try here too.....
Ive been considering buying a Nikon 6X24 Variable SF w/FCH for one of my Varmint rifles. I discussed it with my local gun dealer today, and he said he would see if he could find one for me. He called later today and said he had tried a bunch of places, and nobody has them. Anyone know if they are available or not???
Also, I'm interested in any feedback from those of you who have them....
No, I'm not getting the BDC reticle, thank you........
Don.

RE: Nikon 6X24 Variable w/SF & FCH
I just bought a Bushnell 4200--6X24 from Bear Basin for $399 out the door-including shipping. I like the 4200 a bit better than the Nikon for varminting. IMO the 4200 has better tracking, is a bit cheaper, and I also believe the glass is a bit better. I put it on an Encore 223 barrel that I am adding a suppressor to, and plan on using it next year for a quite ground hog rig. Just my opinion. Tom.
