does anyone know of a good bore giude for a browning BAr chambered in 30-06sprg?
i see that midway has a ton of the bore guides there. most don' t go by calibers. they go by numbers. would like a hand if someone could help me.

I thought you had to clean a BAR from the end of the barrel not through the bore.
If so you would have no use for a bore guide.
If you are cleaning you BAR from the bore end do you have to dissassemble it to some extent first?
Just curious, never owned one.

Are you looking for a muzzle protector, their pretty easy to come by. I bought one from a guns shop that was basicly a brass cone that works for verything for me from 6.5mm to .50.

If you take an empty brass case of .264 caliber or smaller -a .25-06 case would probably work really well, and cut the neck portion off about 3/4" back from the mouth of the case and chamfer the brass edges, you should have a satisfactory bore guide.
