I took a look at Remington's website today, and noticed there was a new addition to their left handed offers....the XCR.
I called Gander Mountain and spoke to one of their reps in the gun dept. I asked if he could find out how long I would expect to wait to get a lefty XCR in .270 or .30-06. I didn't really get any help from him.
Has anyone seen one in a gun shop yet? I spoke to a gun shop in Dallas, TX that said they had 2 in .300 Ultra Mag. that were ordered earlier come in.

What trips my trigger is the new for this year youth model700 SPS lefty's in .243 and 7-08....for about 2 bills cheaper than a CDL/BDL.
Mine, in .243, will be here on Wednesday. I'll slam it in the McMillan I just bought for it and see how it shoots. If it fares well with our standard .243 load, thenI'llhave my 'smith punch it AI and run the 85 X's up a notch......
Thinkin' all up with a short tube, Talley LW's, Turret'dFX-2 6X, andMcMillan..it'll hang on the strap at 6ish pounds without the bipods. The O.D. cerekote finish will add a little but not worth frettin' over.........
