With the good quality scope, rings and premium ammunition (or handloaded with a combination or powder, bullet that is most accurate with this rifle), you don't need to have additional custom work to make the Tikka T3 a "tack driver". The hardware will do it's job, you mainly just need to concentrate on doing the rest practicing with it.
This is the most accurate rifle I've personally owned out of the box. I don't think you'll need to have the trigger adjusted either. It comes from the factory breaking at 3 1/2 lbs. if I remember correctly. It's a smooth pull and breaks cleanly. Enjoy, have fun with it.

I would definately dump the cheap, supplied rings and get some decent ones (Talley, possibly the new Deadnutz, etc). You can adjust the trigger yourself ...very easily.

Only reason i went with such a powerful scope is that i wants a long distance gun for Texas deer and wild boar (200-400 yds).

I have a SS Tikka Lite in 243.It is the only rifle I have never had to do anything too.Out of the box,with the Tikka rings and Burris 3 x 9 x 40 it has shot five different types of ammo less that 1" three shot groups.I also had to order my Tikka as I am left-handed.Last year made a shot on a decent buck at 475 yards(lasered) and he went about 25 yards after the shot.I will agree with everyone else and say see how it shoots first and I think you will be OK with the Tikka out of the box.

My 270 model 700 shoots pretty nice at 200yrds with a 3-9 VXI...Right out the box...

Tikkas are already tack drivers, with a quality scope like the Nikon you have on it. You don't want/need to glass bed it, it's a free floating barrel and the mounting system holds it on zero once you get it there.
If anything work on finding the optimal load and bullet combination, which can have affect good or otherwise.
