With the good quality scope, rings and premium ammunition (or handloaded with a combination or powder, bullet that is most accurate with this rifle), you don't need to have additional custom work to make the Tikka T3 a "tack driver". The hardware will do it's job, you mainly just need to concentrate on doing the rest practicing with it.
This is the most accurate rifle I've personally owned out of the box. I don't think you'll need to have the trigger adjusted either. It comes from the factory breaking at 3 1/2 lbs. if I remember correctly. It's a smooth pull and breaks cleanly. Enjoy, have fun with it.
