I think a 25 -06 is as good an antelope rifle as you can get any .25 for that matter. I shoot a 25wssm for antelope and use 44gn of IMR4350 and a 110 Nosler AccuBond.

I useFederal Premium's loaded with 117 grain Sierra Game Kings. They shoot flat, are accurate and performed well on a whitetail doe this past season.

Excellent choice. As far as bullet pick which ever shoots the best at all ranges.100-120grs will work just fine.

Good luck

I had every intention on getting a 270, but then something told me 25-06, so I bought it. My soon to be 12 year old and me are going antelope huntingand I thought my 338 would be a little much. Oops, we forgot to get a computer.
