remington 700 7mm

My favorits are my Rem. 700s and Weatherbys, vanguard and mark V. Couldnt choose between them. All are great.

This is like cheating... I'd keep my 870 Express along with the slug and VR barrels... Still only one gun but will put anything or anyone down! I just put a new stock and recoil pad on it, now its good for another 20+ years!

Why does it not suprise me to see remington in 1st?

I change my mind, now i will say a savage in 22-250, has to be one of the most versatile cartridges ever.

Keeping only one gun would mean we've lost the fight and now it's a matter of survival. My gun needs to shoot fast and be easy to carry (we're on the run). Cartridges need to reload fast and easy without a press, handle homemade blackpowder if necessary, and provide plenty of knock down power up close. Much as I'd hate to leave my long range stuff behind, I'd take my old Marlin 1895 in 44. Rem Mag. It's not very pretty, but it gets the job done.
