First thing you do is clean the rifle of all oil or grease in the chamber.
and or barrel..Degrease the bolt..If you don't you may up with the
fireing pin being slow..In cold weather that is..

Some semi-autos misfeed without a good powerful round to kick the action back. Cheap ammo will misfeed. I use CCI in all my guns. Stingers in my 10/22. Read the reviews you posted from cabelas on the ammo in question. Sounds like they misfeed. Get what you pay for.
I'v fired a whole box of sub sonic .22 ammo from my model 60, fired and cycled every shot no jams, honestly I was impressed, I thought for sure it wouldnt cycle the action. I'm used some of those Aguila Snipe Sub Sonic rounds with a 60 gr bullet and the shortened cases, actually even cycled them too!
