I picked up a niceNIBRemington Limited Edition a little over ayear ago(7mm Rem Mag, nice dark walnut monte carlo stock with tip, stainless action and receiver) and it didn't cost a arm and a leg. I believe it was a Shot Show Limited Edition from about 2004 or 2005. Itcost just under $650 although I believe it listed forjust under a$1,000 when it first came out.Looks great, decent trigger and shoots pretty well right out of the box. These new Limited Editions will probably be selling for a decent discount in the near future and end up being a pretty good deal.

How they shoot is 99.99999999999999999999 % of what a rifle is about to me.Hey Doe Dumper, there is that 260 you been wanting. Maybe you can trade your IPOD.

Ahhhhhthe IPOD [:@]I have used that thing once and returned it to the box...lol...maybe I can use it some when I start hitting the hills on the bike again.

Yep I have been wanting a 260 bad as you know..lol. I just wonder why they have to keyhole it and only put it in the high dollar offerings. Im thinking my 7-08's may be a better choice anyways.

The 7mm-08 may be a better choice but who wants to choose? Gotta have them both.

Are you guys kidding? I've got an 870 that has sweet wood and an action that feels like its on ball bearings. My 700 BBL in 223 is a tack driver and the trigger feels like Im snapping an icicle. Their guns are awesome!!

Oops,.....did I forget to mention the 870 is from the 50's and the 700 is from the late 60's? I hatewhen that happens. You mean that the new ones aren't better than the old ones?? Huh? Damn, I though with all the technology in machinery, materials, and research that those new ones would be 100 times better than that old stuff.

Damn shame, isnt it? Like my brother says, "all the good guns have already been made".....

They don't even speak english in Remington Country anymore.......
