In my state we can wear handgun in public as long as it isn't concealed.
What state is that?

You can in Colorado also!

Eveyone wants to be a cyber-cop! The guy asked advice on a handgun, and we give him this bull chit. Then he tried to just stay on the gun subject andclearly stated he did not need legal advice and we give him more chit! Cut the guy a break.

I am interested in buying a self defense handgun for a friend. I want it to be small (for smaller hands) but nothing smaller than a 9mm. I would also like it to have a red/green laser on it. I know alot of semi autos are thinner than revolvers and easier to carry concealed but would like opinions on this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Stopping power? .380 auto keep pulling until the situation goes away. Usualy 1-2 shots.

Thats a beaut, my friend. Oh and for some legal advice...."Don't park in Handicap spots." It pisses them off.

Hey senor LOCO. It is funny that you started out by informing everyone that you were not seeking any legal counsel, yet the responses all seem to have missed that pont!

I would suggest that you look at some of the small .45's, like the ones Kimber makes...... If you can find one, the Star PD is a good defensive pistol in a good caliber.....
