H&R slug hunter??

Default H&R slug hunter??

I am going to trade a Mossberg 835 ulti-mag for a H&R slug hunter,bull barrel,laminate stock and is topped off with a 1.5-5 simmions whitetail classic scope.BTW its a 12 ga.Just wanted to hear everyone thoughts on this slug gun.

I don't have one , but a guy I hunt with does. Very accurate at 100 yards with a 3-7x33 Leupold on top. Not a bad looking gun either.

i have the tracker 2 which is a lighter version of the slug gun you are talking about, but mine is a 20 ga, man is it acurate.

I'm in the process of ordering the same gun that you speak of, except I'm gonna get the 20 gauge. Looks like a simple and easy gun. Can't wait to try it out. What does anyone else have to say about it???

Is there enough clearance or space between the hammer and the scope to easily cock it and shoot without the hammer hitting the scope? Sorry if that's a bad question. Just curious what height scopebases anyone has on theirs. Thanks in advance.
