RE: Shot Gun Decision
Good move on the Stoger! I have a friend that had his Stoger 2000 break while goose hunting a few days ago. This same friend has a friend that had his Stoger (same model) actually blow apart and injure him a few weeks ago. To look at the gun, you would think that someone died after the explosion. The receiver is rotated on a 90* angle to the barrel and the shell that blew up, the brassis lodged in the buttstock!
Anyway, of the choices that you've listed, I would go with the Beretta 390 hands down! I have the Extrema and it's a really good gun. Can't be too much difference between the two.
