I use Winchester Supreme and have dropped 2/2 good shots and 1 gut shot[:'(]in which she ran a ways and expired within seconds.

I've used them in my .280 ( 140 grain) for about 15 years... Killed an antelope, a big mule deer buck, about 15 whitetails and 9 bull caribou with them...No complaints so far... Most all of my broadside shots have been pass throughs...Some of the raking shots have not passed through, but I can say the same the same thing about the Barnes X bullets I've killed stuff with..

My personal opinion is that they work as well as any standard cup/core bullet and are more accurate than some...My sampling of only 26 animals is probablysmaller than the posters who complain of the BT not performing as it should...

I love the bang-flops that they produce. Yes,they expand violently,in a large enough caliber that weighs enough to penetrate sufficently,I don't CARE if they seperate-as long as it's in the vitals when it happens.

The only gun Ive used Nosler Ballistic tips for deer in is my 300 Win mag,165 gr,and after using it for ten years and taking a mature buck every year except this year and several does, (nine mature bucks) and two large alaskan black bear, all have been "bang-flops", except for one of the bears, and he went about 50 yards. Every time I pull the trigger they look like they have been hit by a truck, and they are completely jelly on the inside, I usually get an exit, but about 20% dont exit, and it seems like the non-exit shots inflict the most damage, they are usually closer range shots. I love them, but I dont know If I would use them for deer sized game in anything smaller than a .270 cal.. Just my opinion.
