is there anything "wrong" with it, besides the stigma attached to it being sold at those bigbox stores? you know the ones i'm talking about...
are their rounds any more un-reliable then their counterparts in federal or remington, etc?

I use the Winchester Super X Power Points in my 270wsm. Very accurate and consitant in velocity in my rifle. In a Couple weeks I will try them out on a cow elk and a doe deer in Dec. I think if you put into a the boiler room area should not have a problem.

i like them better than corelokts.
i think i killed 3 deer with them from my 3006. i liked their performance.
wished i woulda looked a little harder on a buck i killed. he was pretty much facing me/walking left barely. i put it right through the body longwise chest on. he flipped over backwards and never moved. i didnt look to see what all i hit or anything...dont know if the bullet exited or not...it was dark and i never looked...
but i like them...

There is nothing wrong with them at all. For deer you don't need to buy the premium bullets to kill them. I shoot whichever brand shoots best in my rifles. On some of them it is Winchester, on others it is Remington, Federal, or Hornady.
