Removing The Bolt From A Remington XP-100?
Does anyone know how to remove the bolt from a Remington XP-100 pistol? My XP has been under thebed for a couple of years and has accumulated a little rust on the bolt. I wanted to remove the bolt and try to smooth up the action a bit but I can't seem to find a release point. I've searched the net but can't find anything.
I have the 7mm BR caliber

It's been a long time since I took the bolt out of one, but I believe you either open the bolt, hold the trigger to the rear, or open the bolt, push downward on the safety and remove the bolt.

Open the bolt as far as you can. Using a tooth pick or even a small screw driver, push between the bolt and the left side of the receiver. You will need to push forward and down.
