Actually, I'd take all the deer meat you can give me. I get a chance at 2 bucks in one week (however rarely get the chance to shoot at a second one if I get a chance at a first) and then sometimes two does depending on how often I can get back from school.

I like the Ballistic tiops because they work very well without using hot loads. They perform very well in the slower cartridges like the 250 Savage, 260, 6.5x55 7mm-08 and 308. I like to load them to about 2700 fps they expand well yet usually pass through. I really like them in the 300 Savage as well.

I bet they are absolutely perfect for the 300 Savage in the 150's.

I have used them in the 30-06 and 308 as well . One time I ended up with a disputed deer when two of us shot at the deer and when we dressed it out the little green tip was in the gut pile next to the heart. I was the only one shooting the little green tip bullets. I gave it to the other guy anyway as it was his last day to hunt and I still had a week left to hunt. I never let work get in the way of hunting seasons.
