    Default Marlin 882- 22 Mag is it compatable for
    mounting a scope. I looked at one today ss with synth stock also a wood stock.bluued barrel and if you remoce the rear receiver site the holes are not big enough for a scope mount. I need to have it scoped, help me out on this. The rifle was at WALLY WORLD and the ss was 198 and bbl was 165.

    the 882ssv is able to be scoped. Shouldn't run you much over $200 and is REALLY accurate. It is the heavy barreled version of the ones you seen.
