Light trigger pull is great for the range but for someone who is primarily looking for a hunting set up factory triggers are usually OK. When someone shootshundreds of rounds or more a year at the range then they usually fine tune and receive better accuracy. If you are like me and shoot a box or two a year it really shouldn't make much difference.

Here's my .02 cents on the subject. First of all,if you practice safe gun handling, and it sounds like you do,the muzzle of rifle will never be pointed in unsafe direction regardless of weight of trigger pull. Having said that, the best trigger control will be acchived with a smooth, light trigger with very little movement. I do have advantage of being gunsmith so if I don't like something out of box(and I usually don't) it's not a major thing to me. 1 thing I do insist on is having a working safety,smack/drop/slam proof trigger. I cringe whenever I see someone casully swing muzzle in my direction,AND QUIT HUNTING WITH THEM RIGHT THEN.

Thanks for all the input! I'm gonna go back to the range a few more times, with all 3 rifles, beforeI make a decision. Right now, I'm leaning towards leaving everything as is. Again, thanks for all the FREE advice. That's what I love about this place!
