Default Winchester 1300 Defender

While I know that thisproduct is discontinued & it's not typically a hunting shotgun. I've got one laying around and was considering working it up to a deer gun or possibly a bird gun. Do you guys think it's worth investing any money into this gun (buying longer barrel etc...)? Any advice would be appreciated.

Yea why wouldnt it be. Its just a special edition of the 1300. You could get regular barrels for it and it would be like a normal shotgun.
