As usual, I have a rifle on lay away at Sodak. Another Buffalo Classic. We just got 2 inches here.

Ya Sodak has a tendency to make a guy spend money.............There is this damned Tikka T3 Varmint in 22-250 that is just begging me to take it home with me everytime I go in there. One of these trips I'm going to give in to it..................It just loooks sooo damned lonely in there.................

When I lived in AZ my brothers and I would take the guns (mostly 22's), several cases of Wal-mart soda pop (including a few 2liter bottles) and head out to the desert. Nothing like hitting a can of pop at 30 yds when it's been agitated and then sat in the AZ sun. It gives a real dramatic effect. Ususally there is enough of the can left over to set it back up and shoot it again. Once all the exploding and blasting were don't we'd set the two liter bottles (all shook up and under pressure) far out until we could barely see them and then try to hit them with our .22'. That would take a while and help us wind down.

I haven't found a place here in CO that I can do this. I sure miss it.
