For cryin out loud. A 22 will kill a hog. Just get off your duff and go after it.

Plus the 06 has way more bulletselection. Alot more versitile!

Both are pretty much equal in my eyes. I go with the 06 because it has a wider variety of bullet weights/ styles and factory ammo is available everywhere.

In all honesty though if you can find a box of 30-06 ammo anywhere there is a 99% chance that there is a box of 270 ammo sitting right beside it. Also, how many bullet styles and weights does one actually need for a cartridge?

My solution to this dilemna is simply not to own either the 270win or the 30-06.:D
