Got a new gun today!!!
I bought a 22 cal S&W Model 22A-1, and put a 4x scope on it.
Can't wait to shoot it! It will be used for target/squirrel hunting.
Is there any feeling better than walking out of a store with a new toy???
I don't think so, Tim. LOL

congrats! hope she works out for ya! i love walking out with a new toy in my hands...my latest was a browning buckmark...i love it! im 15 and can keep most of 100rds on a paper plate at 50ft(thats the buckmark pistol) which i think is pretty decint for being so young and not shooting pistols a whole lot...every time we goto the range i get better though! i love it! good luck with your toy!

A gun store is probably the closest a man will ever come to knowing how a woman feels in a shoe store. I just start drooling and want to touch everything. So many choices, the owners hate to see me coming cause all i want to do is hold each one and talk guns. Maybe one day i can buy one too.

RE: Got a new gun today!!!
while i havent used a 22A-1 i have used some model 41 that my pistol club owns and apart from being a little ammo finicky they seem to be quite accurate.
mauser06 nice choice on the buckmark, if i recall back about 4 or 5 years ago i got my buck mark at the same age as you. and it is a great beginners gun. one thing to try is solid lead nose bullets i find they cycle better than hollowpoints. and my doesnt like anything made by winchester.

3D...I did OK in WV. I had plenty of chances, and passed up plenty of little ones. I shot a 5pt on friday that I thought was much bigger than it was. It had a real high tight rack.
I did manage to see a couple that I'd love to have next year...so I guess I'll be back!
Congrats on the 6's...
