I used one on a deer when I was 8 years old. Quite a while ago now. It is a great little rifle for a young'in. The sights were just like those on my Chipmunk .22. Got a nice doe with the borrowed m-1. They still make hunting rounds for it too. Shot her at about 40 yards. Keep it inside of 75 or 80 yards...no problem at all....just have to shoot straight.
