Default RE: Gun weight question

I have that Kimber 84 M Classic in .308 (didn't like the Montanas either). As a matter of fact, I just got home from the range and cleaned it after a day of shooting. I really like this light weight Kimber. I don't reload so I'm experimenting with different "food". The Federal 165's did good. I also shot some of the wife's managed recoil and at 100 yards it was right at 1 inch. I'm gonna try the new Corbon 130's next. Under $800 is a good deal. Go get it NOW!!! With that being said, I probably shoot better with a heavier rifle, but sometimes light is just better. Guess we need more rifles in several different weights and configurations. MORE TOYS. MORE TOYS.

How is the felt recoil on that gun? I'm taking my 12 old nephew hunting next year and I was going to have him use my .257 but since he is such a pretty short kid (don't tell him though) he might do better hauling a lighter gun around. Thanks.
