to save myself some trouble, (hopefully), what ammo have you guys found to group the best out of your winchester model 70s? i have the coyote version with the laminate stock and stainless steel bull barrel. shots would probably be a max of 300 yards.

While I don't have that particular rifle, both of my 250's love the Winchester White box 45gr JHP. They come in the 40 round pack. They also work great on yotes. Not too hard on the pelt, and their is no "splash" effect like I was getting with the 40gr Vmax.

Some people don't have very good results with them. But out of the 4 of us who hunt together,they workvery well. And for the price, it is certainly worth a try. Good luck
