Benelli or Browning ??

I hunted a pit in mo. last week and a couple of guys at the other end had autos ,,the same two were talking about the sbe and gold.they bragged about how they were the duck champs ,,and when i looked in there shell bag they both had big cans of wd 40,,,they thought every duck hunter had that in there bag,,i said whats that for ,,well we have to keep em clean ...or they start hangin up,,but our pumps never checked up ,just kept on flamin...i own a couple of autos but there just for doves and skeet and anything that is warm weather.For some reason those cold dirty duck blinds are hard on themJAMAMATICS,,

Well, there ya go. I am sure with the posts here it makes your decision much easier. Actually, maybe it will as most are strongly for the Benelli. Let us know what you decide.

One thing I have heard others say about the Gold is that they run better dry also. In mine, there are certain points in the bolt area that must be lubricated, or things don't work right.

DD, I have A-5's from years ago and love them, but today I would go with a Benelli.

If they are spray WD40 into a semi, then thats thier problem. Especially cold weather. Why is it so hard for people to follow directions given?

Just went head to head with a SBEII yesterday in a duck blind with my gold stalker 3.5". Cold rainy day in salt water. Dozens of shots fired. I couldn't believe how much more that SBE recoiled over my gold. We traded for a while. Of course neither had trouble.
