My Grandpa has one of those. I figured that it would really only be good for a couple of applications. One being personal defense, and the other as a snake killer. I guess that both could be looked at as personal defense. I am not positive, but I sort of recall his being made by Interarms. I cannot be certain of that though. Those things make a helluva flash when shot at night lol.

Does it have to be a double barrel? If not look at the The Judge by Taurus Arms.

I just saw one a few month back. I wish I had bought it!! It was only $100.00. Blued double barrel .410. It was really cool, it would be great for snakes on fishing trips. Unfortunately I dont recall the manufacturer

i have looked at two company's products, one is Bond Arms and the other is American Derringer. Both make 2 barrel derringers in .45 colt/.410 shot. i think they are a great option for defense in home or the woods. i plan on getting one some day - a bit costly. both companies have internet sites.
