my buddy just purchased himself a new Ruger Vaquero, its a .45 LC and its 7 1/2 inch barrel stainless, its single action and is a very fine looking pistol, i was actually kinda interested in getting one now, them old style revolvers let you feel like your in the old west, was wanting to know how these perform and how accurate you could expect a .45 LC to be, any thing to know about them would help, thanks a lot

with practice id say you could be pretty accurate with one. they are pretty sweet feeling arent they.

It should be pretty accurate. However you will have to determin the bore size. Old LC's were 454 diameter and most of the new ones are 451-452. I had a little trouble loading for the LC until I found this out. My old die set expander for my die was 454.
