Default Savage 93 .22 wrm feeding problems

Hey guys, I have been working all day on a new 93, .22 wrm. The magazine will feed the first round and the fifth round fine, but all of the others are hitting the throat of the barrel low. Sometimes is will feed 3/5 one time I got 4/5.
Any ideas on what I can do to the magazine to get it to feed properly.
I have put the bullets into the magazine ever way I can think of, except backwards.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

is that the semi auto with the straight clip?

if so, a friend of mine has that same one and has that problem though not as severe and his also has ejection problems.

5 shot clip, it's like the front of the bullet needs to be raised. It has a plastic follower, I don't know when they went to plastic instead of metal. If your's a clip, is the follower plastic or metal?

Its probably the little flipper under the bolt that needs to be tuned. I was having this problem with my sons savage .22 semi auto and I ended up having to take the gun apart and tweak the shell feeder. I am sorry if this really doesnt pertain to your rifle, I am just trying to offer up a suggestion. Another thing is that the clip might need a dab of oil so that the spring doesnt snag at all when feeding bullets.
