And yes, the Hot Cor, and the other Soft are the same bullet, and have the same BC. Federal just names them different, so they can price them differently.

According to you the 300 WSM is faster out of the barrel and has more energy at the muzzle but the 300 Win Mag will pass it up and carry more energy at ranges beyond 100 yards while both utilize this bullet.......

You need to quit posting as someone may think you know what you are talking about.

I will say it again.....If the same size bullet is faster out the barrel it stays faster. If you were able to find an anomaly in a ballistic chart please have the common sense to understand a mistake when you see it.

As a favorite CALIBER I'm torn between .264 and .284, but I cannot choose just one favorite for all jobs, thus I have a stable of different calibers.
If I had to pick one rifle to take for a wide range of jobs, it would be my 30/06 wich is of course .308

270 WSM, but I dont currently have one. SO, I am letting the 7mm WSM interview for tEJhat position.
