get the standard .270 if you aren't going to reload, ammo is cheaper

The short mags do take a little more than 40-50 grain charges to make magnum performance. Im loading 63 grains of imr 4350 in my 270 wsm. I do personally like the wsm more than my 270 wcf. Probably just because I like the rifle more.

With Hornady's new superformance ammo the .270win is a.270wsm!
