Default sierra gameking's a sucess ! ! !

shot my second buck, but my first with a rifle. used my browning medallion chambered in 30-06sprg. i used 165gr. sierra gameking's.
shot was about 30-40yds away. the entrance was behind the left shoulder and exited ( looked to be right shoulder .
when gutting deer i noticed the ribs on the entrance side was a hole about 3" and the other side of the rib cage ( exit ) was about 5 to 5.5". the left lung had a hole in it but the right lung was in pieces.
my only question...

apon looking at where the shot happened. there was no blood at all. the deer ran 30-50yds after hit and i did not see any blood till about after 20yds. but after that i noticed quite the amount of blood on the ground. i found the deer with blood all over the place where it laid. there was no blood coming out of the entrance wound. seemed all came out of the exit wound.
has this happened to other people? i am asking cause when i shot my 8 pointer with a shotgun. blood came out of both holes.<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>
but i am impressed with what it did for me. havn't had venison in 3 years.

I think the performance is great but others would consider the entrance and exit holes too big. They think you are wasting meat even though it is only a rib or two.

Congratulations.

Oftentimes, depending on high high you hit them in the chest cavity, they bleed internally for a bit. Your bullet's preformance is very similar to what I have seen with the Gamekings. I like big holes.
