well since springfield has been importing them alot of refinments have been made since your HS2000, which is probably why they are more expensive when they were sold under HS2000 they came in only one size one color and 3 calibers with fixed sights only and no accessorie rail. Since springfields been in the game now you can get them in 3 sizes 3 colors and 5 calibers with fixed sights or adustable they also now have loaded chamber and cocked hammer indicators and accessorie rail which the HS2000 did not have.

I have an XD40 service model. Never had a single problem with it. Shoots everything I put in it.

I own two XD pistols. I have been extremely satisfied with both of them. The first one I purchased was the 9mm. I have put several thousand rounds through this gun without a single issue. I have fired various types and brands of ammo. and all have fed, fired, and ejected. The accuracy is great for a service pistol. Because of my experience with the 9mm, I picked up the .45 ACP as soon as Springfield put it. I have been just as happy with it. I would recommend the XD pistol to anyone who can be trusted with gun.
