Grafs finally got the brass in(8X56R)....been waitin for a year. I started fiddling with loads and IMR4064 worked best.....shot the 205 gr SP at 2380 with 47 grains. It sure is a hoot! I shot many 3 shot groups at 100 yards and they averaged under 3 inches. Since I don't plan on using this firearm on ranges over 100 yards, it seems very happy and I am happy too. Not bad for a 75 year old war hero! I willkill a WTD with the Steyr this fall! See pic. Regards, Rick.
Added....actually the rifle is an 1895 modified in 1931 so it is essentially 110 years old!!!!

Nice gun.
I've been wanting to get a 95 carbine for a couple of years now, but never bought one because of lack of brass available, now they seem to be fairly difficult to find
