Default Browning BPR Vs Rem 7600?

I'm definitely going to pick up a pump, probably in 30-06. I already have a Rem 700 Mtn LSS in 7mm-08 and I want a pump for woods hunting where virtually all shots would be 200 Yds or less. I have been seriously considering the 7600 with the 18 1/2" barrel; however, I've owned a Browning BAR before and it was extremely accurate and fit and finish was excellent.

I would be interested in hearing any Pros & Cons related to picking between the Browning BPR and the Rem 7600. I know they both have freefloated barrels and the BPR is no longer in production.

Which would you recommend and why?

I'd appreciate any input you can offer.

Thanks

i like the 7600 better. i like browning guns, but i didnt care for the BPR too much. ive shot my buddys 760 game master. i think it was the carbine model. it was small. handled nice. smooth action. feed good. and shot excellent. i considered one for my next deer gun, but i think ill end up going with a tc encore when i get around to it. i know ALOT of guys that hunt with 760s and 7600s and they all function flawlessly and shoot good.

Could you be a little more specific about what you didn't care for about the BPR?

I've never handled or shot the BPR so don't know anything about them. I have handled the 7600's but have not shot one. They seem to handle, balance, and point very well.....especially the 18 1/2" carbine version.
