It doesn't matter if it it was an upper end scope or not, the service you got from Tasco says it all. If you would have been dealing with Nikon,Leupold, or Burris the outcome would have been different. I wouldn't own a Bushnell product if you gave it to me.

I've got a 3x9x40 Bushnell scope on my 243. Its not higher end expensive model either. Think I only paid around $100 for it at the time because that was all I could afford. The scope's worked great for me. No complaints at all. I have thought about up gradeing to a better scope. But if it ain't broke don't fix it!

ORIGINAL: Vapodog

for a guy that shoots 3/4" groups at 200 yards with iron sights I'm surprised you would waste your time with a scope at all.
Vapo. was it you who said you use tasco exclusivly?

Twenty years ago they made some pretty good scopes. I have several of the fixed power World Class scopes that still work very well. I have not used any of the ones they have made since the went out of business on their own.

The fact that Bushnell only has a 1 year warranty scares me off them. I have a couple of older....early 90 or late 80's tascos that have been very good scopes.
