I would just like to comment on the service I got from Mossberg. I had traded for several guns including a Mossberg 500 with bottomland camo with a ventilated rib barrel. To my surprise I found out that the choke tube could not be removed no matter how I tried. I actually bent the wrench mossberg gives you for the little flush tubes. This is after letting the end of the barrel set in liquid wrench for a day, and heating it slightly over my gas stove. The tube wouldnt budge. Someone had been a bad boy and had never lubed the tube. I doubt it had ever been taken out. Probably shot it alot and it was seized tight. I sent it back to mossberg and they got it out and put a new choke in and even replaced the melted bead on the front sight with no charge and no shipping back to me. They didnt have to do it but did with no words and in short time. I give Mossberg a thumbs up and will buy their products and reccommend them in the future.

At least you had a better outcome with them than I did. I had contacted them about the heavy trigger pull in my 695 slug gun. It was breaking at 8 1/4 pounds, and I thought their was something wrong with it. They had me send it in, and they replaced the trigger group. When I got it back the new one had a pull of 9 pounds! I called them back, and the only suggestion they had was to send it back, and they would see if they had one that was a little better. Yeah right.LOL Oh well, live and learn I guess. Moral of the story, saving some money now will probably cost you money in the future.

i also have had a very good experience with them. I had a rusted barrel when i bought my 500. they sent me two extra barrels for my trouble.
