Default Thumbhole Stocks???

I tried a Browning A-Bolt today with a thumbhole stock and I have to say it was one sweet rifle. Anyone have a thumbhole stock and if so how do you like it?

I have a 25-06 for silhouette and a 30-06 I use for hunting that both have thumbholes on . I just bought a 300 win mag that I plan on putting one on also. Seems to make them very steady to shoot off hand

I shoot alot of competition smallbore..and i was trying out a rifle that had a thumbhole stock and loved it..only problem was the trigger was very inconsistent but it definatly kept my hand in the same spot of better consistency in my form.

I had a M98 with a thumbhole stock. I liked the feel of it a lots, and would not hesitate to buy another one again. I got rid of the gun but it was because I didn't want the caliber anymore, not because I didn't like the thumbhole stock.

I saw a guy at the range yesterday with a tricked out M1 Garand that had a custom wood thumb hole stock and he swore by it.
He said if he could afford it, he would have one made for everything he owned.
