300 WSM

If everyone is voting for the M77 I'd say the only way I would buy that rifle is if it got a Timney trigger at the time of purchase. I owned a M77 MKII, and it was the worse trigger I'd ever felt on a factory rifle.

I have not seen that MkII triggers are that bad. My brother bought one last fall, and I was quite impressed with the trigger. It is not nearly as bad a my 20 year old tang safety Ruger M77. I completely agree that a Timney is better though.

I bought a 300wsm last Xmas ('04). Winchester blk/blk with a leupold scope and a box of ammo for $419 it was a bargin and the last one on the shelf. It wasnt suppose to come with the scope but they couldnt find there screw driver to take it off and i dont think the guy at academy realy cared either way so he just said merry Xmas and put it in the box =) Also came with a free hard case. Model 70 300wsm i love the gun shoots 1" groups outta 5. Its a close second to my 30-30. and it doesnt kik as much as i thought it would.
The M77 is a good rifle i have one in .270. I do like the LSS tho it is a very nice firearm.
