Noone is jumping on this but I would like to hear how that rifle does for you. Do you have glass on it?
The 22 Hornet makes me think of Dad's rabbit hunting days in the Nebraska flats. I have used the 222 & 223. Well, you could blow the little bunny brains out. Less to clean!

If you load for it you may be able to tailor a load for minimum meat damage. A tougher bullet at lower velocity. I has the Savage 340 Bolt gun in 22 Hornet. Its a hoot to plink with.
