I was in a local gun store in Omaha and they had standard cals. for $499 and WSM cal for $529. I still thought that they were still alittle high for being on sale. I may be wrong!!!! Zeak

Check outgunbroker.com Zeak. Would seem like a pretty good price by comparison. In general, there is not a big markup on new guns so I don't know how low they can go until they hit dealer cost.

My Tikka T3 7mm-08 wass $499 early last month.

the cheapest I've seen is the T3 Lite for $487.23 for standard calibers and $509.25 for WSM.

Thanks for the info guys!! So the price was pretty much in line and they were in stock. Mite have to go back and get the one in 270WSM. Have a couple of Win 270's already so would it be much of an atvantage to having the WSM? They are a Rem 700 and a custom 98Mauser. Zeak

In my experience and opinion the features (e.g. same barrel ask Sako, floating, smooth adjustable trigger, well styled, high quality machining, strong receiver/bolt, 1" @ 100 yds groupings fired at the factory) this is one of the best buys for that amount of money out of the box around today. You can pay a lot more for such a well manufactured accurate rifle, but I'd buy another T3 for that amount any day.
