700 ADL with plastic/composite stock
#11
I have had several. My latest one is a 270 that shoots vary well and feeds and performs perfectly. With Federal Fusions 130 grain, it shoots under one inch. Three shot groups which is all I shoot with hunting rifles. The one before this was a 257 Roberts which shot even better. The thing I like about the 700 is that I can adjust the triggers myself and end up with a great trigger. My 270 turned out the best of any. The trigger is fantastic on this one. For the money there are as good as it gets.

I hafta agree with james. They are a great rifle for the money. I am still kicking myself for selling my Rem 700 ADL chambered for 223. That gun with a $100 scope would put 5 shots (handloads) into groups at 100 yards you could cover with a nickle. I still have one in 243, which is also a tack driver, but it gets the backseat with my new Tikka thats around.
Negotiate with the shop that has it, and tell them you will take it for $325, at least thats what they go for around here.

I have 2 of them an shot in several others for people. They have all been great shooters. My 2 will shoot under an inch 3 shot pretty easily. GREAT guns for the money. They arent much to look at but the groups they shoot are a thing of beauty.
